Don’t Fall for Fancy Packaging

My Thoughts on Pet Supplements

Pet supplements are everywhere right now, and I’ll be honest, some of it has gotten a little wild.

A beautiful website, glowing reviews, and clever marketing do not automatically mean a product is high quality. I tell pet parents all the time to slow down and look beyond the label. If a company isn’t transparent about ingredients, that raises questions for me immediately.

One thing I often look for is NASC certification (National Animal Supplement Council). Companies that participate go through audits and quality checks, which tells me they’re investing in accountability.

But here’s the bigger point: supplements shouldn’t be where pet health starts.
